Is it possible to understand consciousness?
The ways we think and feel.

Consciousness is the subjective state of being aware of oneself and one's surroundings, encompassing thoughts, feelings, sensations, and memories, essentially "what it's like to be you". It's a central mystery in science, often described as the mind's inner world, involving awareness, perception, self-awareness, and reasoning, and is deeply linked to the brain's cerebral cortex, though the exact mechanism of how the brain creates it remains unknown. It also refers to states like being awake, dreaming, or in a coma, and can be viewed as universal awareness or a collection of individual experiences.
