Blockchain
Blockchain is a public, decentralized ledger of transactions that's shared across a network of computers. It's a database that stores data in blocks that are linked together in a chain.
How does blockchain work?
- Cryptography: Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data.
- Consensus: The network must agree to any changes to the chain.
- Security: Digital signatures prevent other users from corrupting or changing data without permission.
